    The Hot Shield Face Mask model HS-4 is a wildland firefighter face mask made to exclusively fit the Sundstrom SR-100 Respirator. The Hot Shield protects you from burns, while the Sundstrom protects you from smoke and particulate. The design provides extreme thermal resistance and unsurpassed reduction in heat penetration, Hot Shield USA uses CarbonX fabrics, a proprietary material that far exceeds the RPP requirements of NFPA 1977, NFPA 1971 & NFPA 2112. The combination of the HS-4 FR Mask Housing with the Sundstrom SR-100 provides easy breathing and greater comfort, even for prolonged periods of time.
